Twinkletoes opened it's doors in Ajax, Ontario, Canada on July 3, 2004. Since our first season we have grown from a single dance room with two instructors to a school offering two professionally equipped dance rooms and a highly qualified staff of five dance instructors, and two office staff. Twinkletoes does not have "DANCING instructors" but rather "DANCE instructors" dedicated to educating students in a safe, fun and creative way. Our dance staff receives annual in-house training in addition to individuals updating their curriculums with the hottest new styles by attending classes and workshops with top professionals throughout the U.S and Canada on a regular basis.
In 2007 we created a new division of Twinkletoes called T2. This division was created for our male students. New in the 2008 season we began offering in our T2 division an all male hip hop class for ages 5 + taught by a male instructor.
Twinkletoes is also proud to provide our students with oportunities on an on going basis to have guest teachers and workshop opportunities. We have brough in house to teach our students in the past: Melody Lacayanga 2nd place Season 1 SYTYCD, Blake McGrath SYTYCD Canada Judge/Choreographer, Gabrielle Ruiz lead in the traveling cast of A Corus Line, Anthony Russo of Tap Dogs, and in September 2009 we hosted a Dancers Choice workshop with teachers including: Courtney Galiano SYTYC top 4 season 4, Izzak Smith SYTYCDC top 6 season 1, Alyson Stoner Missy Elliott Dancer & Step Up Movies and Shamier Anderson from the Family Channel, all of the teachers will be seen the upcoming Camp Roack 2 movie.
As well as providing top quality instruction to our clients, we pride ourselves on maintaining a personable, family environment. We have knowledgeable and friendly staff available to allow for customer service.
